Briefs and quote comparisons
Preparing or downloading a brief does not send it to suppliers. Comparison entries stay in page memory. No live AI service receives your submitted data in this release. Do not enter sensitive personal information, confidential drawings or trade secrets.
Accounts and saved records
DealMesh verifies your email address using a short-lived sign-in code. We store your email address, an internal account identifier, hashed sign-in codes and session identifiers, and expiry times. Records are visible only to their account holder and authorised administrators. Hashed network identifiers and request times are used to limit sign-in abuse and are removed after 24 hours. Sign-in codes expire after 10 minutes; essential session cookies expire after 30 days or when you sign out.
Commercial enquiries
Buyer requests contain company details, specifications, delivery needs and budget. Supplier applications contain capabilities, website, regions and certification claims. These details will be used to respond to enquiries and take steps at your request before a possible agreement. Security and abuse prevention rely on legitimate interests. Marketing requires a separate choice.
Sharing a brief with an external supplier requires buyer agreement first. The service runs on an IONOS virtual server in Spain, with enquiry data stored in its database. Email verification codes are delivered through the configured business email provider. IONOS’s privacy policy describes its processing. If the deployment location or email provider changes, this notice will be updated. Contact our business email for questions about your enquiry data.
Retention and rights
Inactive enquiries are reviewed after 90 days and removed unless an ongoing enquiry or legal requirement justifies retention. Review is manual. Applicable rights include access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability and objection. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests. Use info@dealmesh.co.uk for privacy requests. You can complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Cookies and browser storage
Temporary form drafts may stay in your browser tab to survive sign-in; drafts are removed after successful submission or when the tab session ends. Quote comparison entries disappear on reload. DealMesh uses essential cookies for email verification and signed-in sessions. Database snapshots are taken daily on the server and retained for 14 days; off-server copies are arranged separately. This application does not add advertising or analytics cookies.
